Madeline Wilkinson has been out since she was 14, the same year she started coloring her hair.

She’s always loved vibrant hair colors, but she never made a big deal about her sexuality. She hopes her human hair colors will make connections with others who are gay, or who just want to talk about it.

 

 

“Some people are scared,” she said. “They don’t want to come out. They just need something to help them.”
